SM gives lucky shoppers chance to discover Guam

SHOPPERS at SM’s premium malls will have the rare opportunity to learn more about Guam and get a chance to visit this island paradise at the Hafa Adai Guam promotion, which is ongoing until Feb. 21.

A joint project of the Guam Visitors Bureau, Philippine Airlines, the Hilton Guam, and SM’s premium malls, Hafa Adai Guam consists of an exhibit showcasing Guam’s culture and tradition, and a promotion wherein shoppers have a chance to win five roundtrip tickets for two to Guam via Philippine Airlines.

The promotion was launched at The Block at SM City North-EDSA, where an exhibit showcasing the best of Guam will remain until January 29, with a simple ribbon-cutting ceremony participated in by Guam Visitors Bureau president Herbie Arabelo, vice president Dingdong Avanzado, general manager Bryan Blair Tayag and Philippine Airlines production manager Michelle Narvaez. SM’s VP for Marketing Millie Dizon and AVP for Operations Bien Mateo joined them.

It will then travel to The Podium from January 30 to February 5, proceed to SM Megamall from February 6 to 11, and then conclude its run at the SM Mall of Asia from February 12 to 20, 2010.

More than that, every accumulated P1,000 purchase at SM City North EDSA, The Podium, SM Megamall, and the SM Mall of Asia entitles one to a raffle coupon and a chance to win a trip to Guam, USA. Vacation packages include a roundtrip ticket for two to Guam via Philippine Airlines, and a three-day, two-night stay at Hilton Guam inclusive of free breakfast and hotel transfers.

Likewise, a minimum of every three tickets purchased at regular SM Cinemas, four tickets purchased at the SM Digital Cinemas, or three tickets purchased at the IMAX theaters and Director’s Club entitles one to a raffle coupon. SM Advantage Cardholders, SM Prestige Cardholders and BDO Rewards Cardholders can also double their chances of winning by just presenting their cards at the redemption booth. Deadline for raffle entries will be on February 10, 2010.

A winner will be drawn from each of the four participating malls on February 21 at the Mall of Asia. An additional winner will be drawn from all mall entries to complete the winning circle of five.
