SM San Pablo Opens Oct. 1 Thursday, September 30, 2010
Laguna residents will experience SM’s shopping, leisure, and entertainment excitement so much closer to home when SM City San Pablo, SM Prime Holdings’ 38th mall, opens its doors to the public on Friday, Oct. 1.
Strategically located on a 68,945-sqm property along Maharlika Highway, the mall will serve customers in San Pablo, nearby towns in Laguna, as well as travelers to and from Quezon, Bicolandia, and Batangas.
Known as the country’s only city with seven lakes, San Pablo is not only scenically beautiful, but also positioned for growth with excellent telecommunications, power infrastructures, abundant skilled manpower, and tourism destinations with an ideal balance between industrialization and nature. With the opening of SM City San Pablo, residents can look forward to world-class shopping and fun as well.
SM City San Pablo, SM Prime Holdings’ second mall in Laguna, has two levels and 40,281-sqm of shopping space. It has been designed with two phases of construction. The first will include major anchors like the SM Department Store and SM Supermarket, SM mainstays like the SM Appliance Center, Watsons, and ACE Hardware, a Food Court with an al fresco dining deck, and shops and restaurants.
The second phase includes four cinemas which will open in December. Retail shops and restaurants are organized for excellent visibility and access. SM City San Pablo has also allotted 600 parking spaces for customer convenience.
SM City San Pablo’s design team includes Design Associates, Inc., mall designer; Jose Siao Ling and Associates, Architects; DA Abcede and Associates, project manager; and DDT Konstruct, general contractor.
