Six Philippine firms  have made it to the world’s top 2,000 largest public companies of Forbes.

In the Forbes  Global 2000 report,  Henry Sy’s holding company SM Investments Corp. made it to the top 1,000 at No. 883 while  the conglomerate’s lending unit BDO Unibank Inc. landed at No. 1072.
