Some of the country’s top merchants had a preview of the upcoming SM City Marikina during the recent Tenant’s Preview held at the soon-to-open mall’s atrium.

Scheduled to open in September, SM City Marikina will be SM Prime Holding’s 31st super mall. Surrounded by large business establishments as well as schools, subdivisions, hospitals, and churches, it will serve customers in bustling Marikina and nearby cities and municipalities. The latter include Quezon City, Pasig, Cainta, San Mateo, Antipolo and even Laguna.

Designed with a modern Asian theme, SM City Marikina will have over 54,000 square meters of great shopping, leisure and entertainment. Anchored by the SM Department Store and SM Supermarket, it will also include SM mainstays like SM Appliance Center, Watsons, and ACE Hardware, as well as over 130 tenants like shops, boutiques and restaurants. It will also have a food court, eight state-of-the-art cinemas, and Cyberzone with a sleek, modern and interactive environment.

The tenant preview included an AVP presentation, a viewing of the scale model, and a tour of the mall for location sites Award notices were also given during the same day.

Chan Kok Bin of Celine, Huy Kun Lim and daughter Alessa of Arrow; Lawrence Sison of Power Mac, Boboy and Toby claudio of Toby’s; vic Munoz of Body Shop and Girbaud; and Fiorino and Lydia Mendoza of Mndrez were among those that attended. Others included Jose Miguel Anton of Pinoy Toppings; Jimmy Lim of Astroplus; and Teresita Maganit of Let’s Face It and Relaksasi; Mabel Sto. Domingo of Flawless; and Jose Mari Grau of Netopia.

Shopping Center Management Corporation officials led by Annie Garcia, VP Leasing Daisy Chua, AVP Operations Bien mateo and Mall Manager Bobby Fernando welcomed them.
