WITH the deadline for renewal of business permits fast approaching, establishments are hurrying to comply with the requirements needed for its issuance.
Philhealth opens other locations for the release of certificates of good payment standing which establishments must secure to renew its permit.
Starting Jan. 6, Philhealth insurance officers will be at the SM business service center, Monday to Friday at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., issuing certificates to business establishments with updated remittances and reports.
Philhealth will also be issuing the certificate at its service desk in the POEA one-stop processing center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At the Philhealth members assistance center (PMAC), issuance of certificates of good payment standing to more than three establishments or branches handled by a single bookkeeper or company representative (bulk transactions) will begin on Jan. 17.
To get Philhealth certification, businesses must present proof of complete payment and remittance reports for the 12-month period immediately before the current month. For establishments operating for less than 12 months, proof of payment and remittance reports from the period it began operating to the month immediately prior must be presented.
Branches with centralized remittances must show a copy of the certificate of good payment standing of its main office for the required period.
