November 15, 2014, Angono, Rizal — The third mall of SM Prime Holdings in this province officially opened its doors to patrons yesterday in this Art Capital of Town the Philippines and home of the “Higantes Festival.”
The 42,000-square-meter and three-level SM Center Angono is located between Manila East Road and Quezon Avenue in Barangay San Isidro, here, and creates a unique identity with its bold, varied, and dynamic exterior wall, with a vivid backdrop for two strategically located entrances.
Mall Manager-in-Charge Rejin Cruz said it has a series of brightly colored art pylons located along the front of the mall highlighting the town as the home of the artists.
Art boxes to house the sculptures of local talents will also soon to be in placed in the mall as what SM Prime Holdings President Hans Sy suggests upon seeing the Art Alley near the entrance, during the inauguration and blessing of the mall, Cruz said.
The mall’s inauguration the other day had the attendance, aside from of SM Prime Holdings; SM Supermalls’ Annie Garcia, and SM Supermarket Vice Chairman Herbert Sy, and other top ranking officials; provincial officials including, Rizal Governor Rebecca Ynares, Vice Governor Frisco San Juan, and local government officials led by Angono Mayor Gerardo Calderon.
