CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The 30 daycare students of Barangay San Jose here will be part of the beneficiaries of this year’s “Christmas Bears of Hope”, which was launched on Friday at SM City Pampanga, which aims to spread the joy of the Yuletide Season to various charities of SM Foundation.

SM City Public Relations Officer Rain Cervantes told Sun.Star Pampanga that various SM Supermalls all over the country also launched their SM Bears of Hope program.

Mall shoppers can help in the program where P200 buys two teddy bears, one to keep and one to be given to selected beneficiaries of the program.

Proceeds of the program will also help fund programs of SM Foundation this Christmas season. Mall shoppers may visit any SM mall and inquire of the various programs for the SM Bears of Hope in their respective areas.

“This is a way engaging our mall-goers in the spirit of giving. The mall also has different charitable programs. But this one is of particular interest as it gives people the opportunity to share to the immediate community,” Cervantes said.
