MS. IRENE MARCOS ARANETA, MS. CONCHITINA BERNARDO, MS. MARGARITA TAMBUNTING, AND THE CONSUL GENERAL OF MONACO TO THE PHILIPPINES FORTUNE LEDESMA WERE THE GUESTS OF HONOR DURING THE RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY.

KULTURA Filipino’s recent opening of a new store at SM Aura Premier strengthened its niche as a distinctive showcase of Filipino creativity and innovation, and as a source of everything uniquely Filipino.

Ms. Irene Marcos Araneta, Ms. Conchitina Bernardo, Ms. Margarita Tambunting, and the Consul General of Monaco to the Philippines Fortune Ledesma were the guests of honor during the ribbon cutting ceremony. And members of the diplomatic community, art and culture advocates, and lovers of all things Filipino enjoyed going over the new store’s mix of premium selections in its home and fashion lines.

At its new store, Kultura remains true to form in combining Filipino ingenuity with world class materials and artisanal designs for a discriminating market. It is where traditional materials and contemporary fashion merge to create a contemporary Filipino look: one of a kind mother of pearl clutches, exquisite vintage jewelry from Kultura’s in house brands, and wraps in indigenous fibers like abaca, banana, and pina silk.

There are also handcrafted accents for the home made from sustainable materials like acacia and Philippine mahogany, hand woven indigenous fabrics like tinalak and ikat, as well as organically shaped one of a kind sculptures.

The store’s interiors capture the philosophy of Kultura Filipino’s merchandise. Its wall panels, flooring and columns are made with natural, local materials and are given a distressed and industrial finish for a world-class, contemporary touch. Stone tiles, marble and pine wood in natural, earth tones are used intermittently to achieve a rough, vintage feel. All these provide multiple textures that add charm and character to the store.

A sophisticated yet relaxed ambience is also carried out in this design through high ceilings and warm lighting. With the new store’s subdued mood and backdrop, Kultura’s merchandise is exquisitely enhanced.

Display setups at the store’s focal points feature complementing items from different categories and collections. Merchandise of varying materials, textures and colors are mixed and matched to further showcase the products’ style and function. This also gives shoppers an idea of how the merchandise will look in their own homes, or when given as gifts.

As the store evolves with its new look and improved merchandise, Kultura maintains its in-store services, which includes foreign exchange, shopping assistance and gift wrapping to truly give customers an enhanced, world-class shopping experience.

The Kultura Filipino store is located at the Third Floor of SM Aura Premier.
