DHL Express Philippines, the world’s leading international express services provider, opened its 24th service point inside the third-largest shopping mall in the Philippines, the SM Seaside City Cebu, on March 22. Currently, there are a total of 213 DHL Express points of sale all over the country. Targeting mostly walk-in and retail customers, the new service point is strategically situated in the heart of Cebu, with expected growth from its small and medium enterprise in the area.
“Our expansion in key growth areas in the country includes Cebu, and this reinforces our commitment to continuously upgrade and improve our services in order to exceed expectations of our valued customers,” said Nurhayati Abdullah, DHL Express Philippines Country Manager.
DHL Express has existing partnerships with SM, the Philippines’s largest chain of shopping malls in facilitating faster, easier and more accessible payment transactions through its bills payment centers.
Not only that, DHL has also partnered with SM Global Pinoy, SM’s corporate social responsibility program that provides services tailored specifically for overseas Filipino workers (OFW) and their families. As part of its promotional launch, DHL Express is now offering 20-percent discount to all SM Global Pinoy OFW members and their families if they ship their packages in selected DHL retail outlets.
