SM PRIME Holdings Inc. the mall developer of tycoon Henry Sy, yesterday opened its, 29th mall in Taytay, Rizal which cost the company roughly P1 billion to build.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), SM Prime said the new mall has a gross floor area of 91,920 square meters and stands on a 38,525-sq.m.lot. SM City Taytay has a leasable area of 42,459 sq.m. and has as its main tenants SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket, a food court, and three cinemas.
SM Hypermarket occupies 8,000 sq.m. of the mall’s total gross, floor area and offers a mix of food and non-food items such as apparel and appliances. It will also house a wet market, a bakeshop and a chicken rotisserie.
The SM Department Store on the other hand is located at the ground floor and second floors of the mall and has a total floor area of 16,803 sq.m., with a gross selling area 11,197 sq.m.
The three cinemas have a, combined seating capacity 1,250.

�?SM Prime president Hans Sy said. Before the year ends, SM Prime is set to open SM Supercenter in Muntinlupa, a community mall similar to SM Supercenter Pasig, which has SM Hypermarket as its anchor tenant.
