ANNIE GARCIA, president of SM Supermalls, is seen in photo during her speech at the launching of the SM Prime Holdings’ First Green Film Festival project at the SM North-Edsa cinema area. Garcia said students will learn a lot about the environment by watching these films. She also stated that this Green Film festival seeks to share the hope for a better world where all lives can be in harmony with environment and nature. Garcia said that through cinema, the Green Film Festival hopes to promote ideas of environmental protection and renewal, especially among the youth. SM promotes environmental sustainability through mall, tenant and community endeavors while simultaneously going green with good business practices.
