SM Prime Holdings Inc , the Philippines’ largest mall developer, posted on Tuesday an 11 percent rise in first-half net income to 2.9 billion pesos (US$ 64 million), helped by new mall openings. 

For the second quarter alone, the company had net income of 1.43 billion pesos, up 12 percent from a year earlier, the company said in a statement.
