A TWO-CLASSROOM SM school building was officially turned over to the local government unit of Batangas City represented by city councilor Carmela Atienza and school OIC Teresita V. Perculeza (second from right) by Lorenz A. Calingasan, mall manager, SM City Batangas, and Linda Atayde, executive director for education of the SM Foundation (second from left).

An unveiling of marker, the signing of the deed of donation and ceremonial turnover of books to the Batangas National High School-NAVERA Annex were, likewise, effected during the inauguration held on July 21 in the Navera school grounds.

Present during the unveiling of the marker were Gemina Buenaflor, assistant mall manager, SM City Batangas (left), and Antonio Dilay, principal of the Batangas National High School.

This brings to a total of 30 school houses donated by SM Prime Holdings Inc. through the SM Foundation. More school houses are being built by SM Prime Holdings in response to the call of the DepEd to donate school buildings to ease the acute classroom shortage in public elementary and high schools.
