Batangas City (25 August) — The SM Group of Companies through the SM Foundation donated a day care center for Barangay Papaya, and a four-classroom school building for Looc National High School in Nasugbu, Batangas.

The turnover last August 10 was led by SM Foundation Executive Director Linda Atayde together with Hamilo Coast President Jess Lucas,SM VP for Investor Relations Cora Guidote, VP for SM Hotels Isabel Morales, SM Foundation AVP Cristie Angeles and SM City Batangas Asst. Mall Manager Gemina Buenaflor.

Before the turnover, the new school building at Looc National High School was inaugurated. The four-classroom building is complete with chairs, tables, blackboards, ceiling fans and comfort rooms.

Another building was also turned over by SM Foundation to Barangay Papaya. The building is a fully furnished day care center which was constructed through the efforts of SM Foundation, Costa del Hamilo and Ms. Grace Masangkay. (PIA Batangas)
