SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna — SM City San Pablo City on Friday awarded five security personnel assigned at the Shopping Center Management Corp. (SCMC) for turning over valuable things, including cash money found, during their routine closing inspections.
Engineer Antolin V. Paule, Senior Vice President for Engineering Design Department and Security Affairs of SM City San Pablo City, handed the awards to lady guard Mirasol L. Balinado, and security guards Buenaventura S. Lumor Jr. and Emmanuel P. Llovit of Corinthians Integrated Security Inc.; Security Guard Jeson D. Espinola of Unicorn Security and Services Inc.; and customer relations services (CRS) Supervisor Dexter P. Gadot of SCMC.
“The deeds of these security personnel are reflective of the SM’s corporate value of honesty and integrity to duty that bespeak as well of the attributes of the good members of the SM Security Force worthy of praise and emulation. They have brought honors and pride, not only to themselves, their families, and their security agencies, but also to the SM Group of Companies,” Paule said.
Colonel Felipe H. Buena Jr. (retired), Senior Vice President for Customer Relations Service, cited statistics showing that among the SM Malls in the CALABARZON Area, SM City San Pablo has the least number of shoplifting incidents in the past three years.
San Pablo posts lowest crime rate in Laguna
For his part, Senior Supt. Florendo S. Saligao, Police Provincial Director for Laguna, reported that the recent evaluation and assessment made by the regional directorate showed that the crime incidents against property was reduced by 29 percent, and San Pablo City had the least number of crimes, compared with other cities and municipalities in the province.
Customer Relations Service Manager Joselito Romel C. Villanueva, Colonel Rodel Mauro P. Alarcon, commanding officer of the 202nd Infantry Brigade based in the town of Lumban, and Supt. Francis Allan M. Reglos, chief of police of this city, and executives of the five security agency providers graced the ceremony that included the traditional pass-in-review.
