THE SM Program on Disability Affairs, together with Canon Philippines and Pavic (Parent Advocates for Visually Impaired Children), recently launched the first-ever photo exhibit for the benefit of visually impaired children, entitled ‘Photography with a Difference: Touching Lives Through Photography,’ at SM City North Edsa.
The activity was aimed at promoting accessibility and change in the attitude of society toward every person with visual impairment and creating awareness that impairment is not a hindrance toward living a dignified life.
The exhibit showcased photographs taken by 23 volunteer photographers or ‘Photographers with a Difference’.
SM’s Program on Disability Affairs went into partnership with key organizers such as Bernie Paras Gan and John Chua to make the event possible.

The event is SM’s way in caring and lending a helping hand to persons with disabilities.
