15 November 2023, Pasay City – SM Prime Holdings Inc.(SM Prime), one of the leading integrated property developers in Southeast Asia, has successfully completed the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Surveillance Audit by TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines. The BCMS audit took place from October 16 to 26, 2023.

Furthermore, two more SM malls, namely SM City Mindpro and SM City Butuan, have recently achieved BCMS certification. This addition brings the total count of BCMS-certified malls to 77, all adhering to the ISO 22301:2019 – Business Continuity Management System standards. This total number represents operating malls as of year-end 2021.

SM Supermalls embarked on the journey towards BCMS certification in 2015, driven by the need to address potential risks related to property damage and ensure seamless business continuity.
