The training program is the 38th KSK program conducted since its launch in Bacolod City almost five years ago. The launch was conducted at Barangay Pasong Kawayan II, Gen. Trias, with 134 farmer participants and guests from the municipalities of Amadeo, Dasmariñas, Gen. Trias, Imus, Mendez, Tanza, and Trece Martires. Farmer participants will be taught the dual-tech approach by KSK trainers. They will also learn the new technology of Harbest Agribusiness Corp., the drip irrigation and fertigation. With this technology, water soluble fertilizer will be mixed to the water container and distributed to the plants through drip irrigation by drops. Efficient use of water, lower labor cost and better yield are some of its benefits.
