ANILA – SM Prime Holdings Inc. said Friday it opened its 60th mall, located in East Ortigas, as the peak Christmas shopping season went into full swing.
SM Prime Holdings board director Hans Sy and president Jeffrey Lim welcomed shoppers to the opening of the 80,000-square meter structure, the company’s eighth in the eastern portion of the metro.
“Our new mall reinforces our commitment to continue expanding in the country given the economy’s strong performance,” Lim said in a statement.
SM Prime Holdings shares were down 2.19 percent to P26.80 in early trading on Friday.
