STUDENTS of the Banisil National High School in General Santos City will have a new P2.2 million four-classroom school building courtesy of BDO Foundation, Inc. and SM Foundation.

BDO thru BDO Foundation and SM Prime Holdings thru SM Foundation, entered into an agreement with the Department of Education for the construction of a one storey four-classrooms school building to address shortage in public education. Funds from this project were generated from the ‘Share Gift Check Project’ of the BDO.

Present during the signing of the agreement were: BDO Foundation’s Member of the Board of Trustees and BDO Unibank Vice Chairperson Corazon S. de la Paz-Bernardo; DepEd Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro; a member of the BDO Foundation Board of Trustees and BDO Unibank Adviser to the Board of Directors Jesus G. Tirona and BDO Foundation President and Member of the Board of Trustees Maureen C. Abelardo.
