SM Mall of Asia will remain open next week despite several road closures around the shopping center in light of the Philippines’ hosting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

“The SM Mall of Asia is open to serve the public from November 16-20 and will observe regular mall hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.,” SM Prime Holdings, Inc. said in a statement.

SM Prime issued the statement as several roads around its shopping mall in Pasay City will be closed for the duration of the APEC meetings.

The APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting will be held from Nov. 18 to 19. Last July, Malacañang declared these dates as special non-working holidays in the National Capital Region.
