Dec. 20, 2014 at 08:25pm – Daniel Matsunaga has come a long way—from a rising male model who easily turned into a runway and magazine staple, to one of the country’s most eligible male celebrities—he has proven his mettle to be worth belonging to the most sought-after personalities in fashion, showbiz and media.
This comes after his win in Pinoy Big Brother, where his Brazilian looks and Pinoy heart gained the approval of his housemates, fans, and the rest of the country. In the competition, as well as within in the fashion and showbiz industry, Daniel has been known to go beyond his smashing good looks and emerge as a man of true character and substance—a priceless trait for today’s young stars.
As one of the defining moments in Daniel’s Philippine career, he was signed in 2012 as the face of SM Men, along with other top male models, such as Hideo Muraoka and Fabio Ide. With Daniel as ambassador, SM Men has successfully embodied the spirit of what it means to be a modern man of style. Daniel took a brief break from modeling when he joined the reality competition, but as he stepped out, he ushered in his fresh win and skyrocketing career to even greater news: He is officially renewed as ambassador of SM Men.
Daniel renewed his contract in the presence of SM Men’s Senior Vice President Jeffrey Lo who was more than happy about extending Daniel’s stay as part of the SM Men’s family.
“Daniel is more than an ambassador to us. He is part of our family, and he represents perfectly what it means to be an SM Man,” Lo said.
Of the renewed partnership, Daniel said, “I am very honored and very happy that once again SM trusted me to be one of their endorsers. This is already my third year with them. SM is like family to me already. I am looking forward for more great projects soon and more years of working together.” Daniel’s contract is extended for one year.
