It’s enjoying a good game for a cause.

Kapamilya top celebrities and the country’s best college hoop stars led by Daniel Padilla, Kiefer Ravena, and Jeron Teng are set to play in a charity basketball game dubbed as Hoops for Hope for the benefit of the children of World Vision Philippines and Child Haus Foundation.

The event is slated to happen on Sunday, Nov. 16, 5 p.m.at the Mall of Asia Arena with a delayed telecast on ABS-CBN Sports and Action Channel. Hoops for Hope aims to provide fun, laughter, and a good time not just for the basketball fans but most especially for the children who were victims of the recent calamities that struck the Philippines.

PBA legends Vince Hizon and JV Gayoso will be coaching the star-studded teams. The game features two teams of 12 players each and will be a mixture of the most sought after Kapamilya young stars and the collegiate circuit’s hottest hard-court heroes. Kapamilya stars suiting up for the cause are Patrick Sugui, Dominic Roque, Diego Loyzaga, Marco Gumabao, John Manalo, Jon Lucas, and Neil Coleta. They will be joined by college cagers Arnold Van Opstal, Thirdy Ravena, Roi Sumang, Kris Porter, Chris Javier, Mark Belo, Mike Tolomia, Bong Galanza, Jonathan Grey, Andretti Stevens, Roger Pogoy, and Matthew Aquino. Some of the stars will also be participat ing in courtside activities throughout the evening.

Two-time cheerdance champion NU Pep Squad will open the game with their jaw-dropping stunts and the halftime break performance alongside with the artists from World Vision Philippines.

See the action happen live on Nov. 16, Sunday, 5 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets are available at all SM tickets in SM Cinema branches across the nationwide chain of SM Supermalls.
