U-Kiss is back in Manila to perform on Wednesday, April 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. This is their 6th time in the city but unlike all their other concerts before, Wednesday’s performance will be for free.

Joining U-Kiss are Laboum, a new all-girl K-pop group and Korean actress Seo Yoong-Hee.

Why the Korean invasion? It’s to launch the new reality-based talent search called Kispinoy. The TV show aims to discover young and talented Filipino K-Pop performers. It will air on TV5 where contestants will be besting each other on a weekly basis for a chance to become the newest Asian sensation.

Sounds interesting? You have to Filipino 13 years old and above to join.

Now, does that sound too far out —a K-pop outfit made up of Filipinos? Well, let the Koreans decide. Interested parties should record themselves singing and dancing at booths set-up in designated SM locations. The recordings will then be sent to Korea for screening.

On the fence? Well, go to the free gig on Wednesday and see if you can hack it.

April 22. 6pm. SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, Pasay.
