Eddie Bauer, a signature outer wear apparel brand known in the United States and Canada, is now in the Philippines.

Aside from the artifacts, the Legacy Museum showcased the new collection of Eddie Bauer to exhibit the brand transformation through its 94 years A special media preview was held recently at SM Aura Premier to showcase the brand’s milestones, signature collection and artifacts. The event was highlighted by a fashion show for Eddie Bauer’s latest collection of apparel.
Eddie Bauer offers premium quality clothing, accessories and gear that complement today’s modern outdoor lifestyle. From its legendary down jacket to the more casual denim and khakis, the brand is designed for outdoor adventures.
The company was created by Eddie Bauer in 1920 in his hometown of Seattle, Washington where he earlier made a name for himself as a top fisherman and an outdoorsman. He patented the first quilted goose down jacket in North America in 1936, and during World War II, Bauer was actively supporting the American war efforts by producing garments and sleeping bags for soldiers.

Officials toast for the brand’s humble beginning and future success in the Philippines.
Since Bauer had the products carry his label, the brand became known to soldiers. After the war, Bauer got queries from all over the country from military personnel who vouched for the products and were asking where they could buy them.
The brand built its heritage around innovative outdoor products and eventually expanded to include a wide range of other apparel that now appeals not only to the athletic bunch but also those who are interested in the outdoor life.
And even as Bauer eventually sold out his interest in the company to his longtime friend and hunting partner William Niemi in 1968 to concentrate on his first love hunting, fishing and bird shooting, his spirit and legacy lives on with the Eddie Bauer brand that can be found in around 370 stores. In the Philippines, it can be found too at SM Aura Premier, SM Megamall, R.O.X. stores in Bonifacio High Street, Ayala-Cebu, Camp John Hay in Baguio and Centrio in Cagayan de Oro.
Eddie Bauer is exclusively distributed here by the Primer Group of Companies that handles retail and distribution of some of the world’s top brands in outdoor, travel, footwear, fashion, wellness, and urban lifestyle, over 120 premium brands in more than 100 freestanding stores and 600 consignment doors in eight Asian countries.
