MALOLOS, Bulacan-The SM Group of Companies, through the SM Foundation, spread early Christmas cheer as it turned over a Felicidad Sy Wellness Center to the Bulacan Medical Center (BMC) recently.

The establishment of Felicidad Sy Wellness Centers is a continuing project of the SM Group to assist hospitals in dispensing medical and health services.

It involves the adoption of a hospital ward, renovating and providing it with medical equipment and furniture and its regular annual maintenance. The BMC’s Felicidad Sy Wellness Center is the 52nd wellness center established by SM.

It also makes available to the general public health information, renders health services, and coordinates with other government agencies and non-government organizations involved in the promotion and delivery of health services.

Present during the inauguration and turnover ceremonies were Bulacan Gov. Joselito Mendoza, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Hjordias Marushka Celis, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Protacio Bajao, BMC’s Department of Pediatrics chairman Dr. Elizabeth Mendoza, Sen. Juan Flavier, SM Foundation executive director Debbie Sy and SM Foundation executive director for Health and Medical Programs Connie Angeles.
