SM Prime Holdings, the country’s biggest mall operator, on Monday activated its solar power rooftop project at the SM North EDSA mall in Quezon City.

President Benigno Aquino led the “switch-on” ceremony, along with SM Prime Holdings President Hans Sy and Solar Philippines President Leandro Leviste.

After the event, ABS-CBN was given a walk-through tour under the solar panels to see how it looks and how the system helps the mall to save on its power requirements.
