Pilipinas Malao Inc. will launch the fourth and last batch of its 2009 Extravaganza on October 1-3 after a successful 8-week run that began in August.

The fourth batch is composed of the branches in Sucat, Batangas and i Cagayan de Oro, and will have the same activities I and offers as the first three batches this year.

The first three batches were composed of Cubao, Pampanga and Iloilo – Batch 1 for the period from August 13 to 15; Cebu, North Harbour and Las Piñas from August 27 to 29; and Batch 3 composed of Imus, Cainta and Davao last September 17 to 19.

Lined up for Batch 4 are the hourly raffle draws, the Isang Minutong Hakot, Makro Value Packs, the Makro Business Academy (MBA), cooking demos, product sampling and the Makro negosyo sessions.

There will also be flair tending exhibitions, celebrity and mascot appearances, cook off showdown, and the barangay-based Makro Singing Idol championship.

For this year, the Extravaganza sought to involve not only small and medium size businesses, but also the barangays and communities where these businesses are from. The target is to make Makro the primary product and service provider to the community.
