ANGELES CITY — A security guard of SM City Clark received commendation after he returned two bags containing a laptop, hand-held game console and other valuables.
Noel Subingsubing, of Panther Security Agency, found the bags at the mall’s food court.
Leroy Barrion, SM City Clark Customer Relations Services manager, said he recommended to Engineer Antolin V. Paule, SM Supermalls senior vice president for Security Affairs, that Subingsubing be given a commendation for his honesty.
Subingsubing said he was conducting a “roving inspection” around 5 p.m. on March 7 when he found the bags owned by John Anthony A. Silva, 18, student, of Angeles City.
After a few hours, Silva appeared at the CRS office and reported his missing bags.
Subingsubing personally handed the bags to Silva, who expressed gratitude to the mall executives for the recovery of his items.
Barrion said honest guards like Subingsubing deserves commendations.
