MANILA, Philippines — Pumanaw na ang pi­na­kamayamang tao sa Pilipinas at may-ari ng SM na si Henry Sy Sr. sa edad na 94.

Yumao si Sy matapos hindi na ito magising sa pagtulog.

“With deep sadness, I would like to inform the group that our beloved Chairman Tatang, Mr. Henry Sy Sr., passed away peacefully in his sleep early Saturday morning. Please pray for the eternal repose of his soul,” pahayag ni Steven Tan, SM Supermalls COO.
