July 13, 2014, MANILA, Philippines – New Zealand’s minister of trade Tim Groser recently visited the Philippines together with a delegation of 10 New Zealand companies on a trade mission to raise awareness and open doors for business opportunities in the country.

The trade mission enabled New Zealand-based companies to sign business deals on energy, medical technology, and cold storage facilities with their Philippine counterparts.

Among the activities Minister Groser and members of the trade mission attended was the Networking Cocktails held at The Conservatory of the Peninsula Manila, where they were able to interact with leading personalities from Philippine government and business. Minister Groser’s trip highlighted the continued strengthening of trade, investment, business and people-to-people linkages between New Zealand and the Philippines.
