It was an early Christmas treat for the winners of the Nickelodeon Christmas Toy Run, which was done in partnership with Toy Kingdom.

On the morning of December 8, Joaquin Estacion, 7, and Alexandra Raig, 8, and their parents were at the SM Megamall branch of Toy Kingdom bright and early. Both sets of parents said the kids couldn’t sleep the night before from the excitement of getting the toys of their choice. These two lucky kids each won a chance to grab P50,000 worth of toys, and an additional run for P25,000 each for the kids of SM Foundation.

After resting a bit, Joaquin and Alexandra got ready for their additional toy run for the ‘Make A Child Happy: Share a Toy Campaign’ of the SM Foundation. That same afternoon at the SM Megamall Event Center, Joaquin and Alex distributed the toys themselves to over 500 kids.

When both kids were asked how they felt after this busy day, Joaquin said ‘I’m tired, but, I’m really happy. I was able to get the toys I want. But, because it’s Christmas, I wanted to share my blessings with the kids of the ‘Share a Toy’ project, so I made sure to get lots of toys for them.’

‘It’s like a dream come true!’ Alexandra said. ‘I’m also happy I was able to share with the kids of the SM Foundation. I wish them to be happy this Christmas and I hope they like the toys we gave them.’

The spirit of sharing was seen and felt by everyone in that joyful afternoon, thanks to Joaquin, Alexandra, Toy Kingdom, SM Foundation and Nickelodeon.
