A typical Global Pinoy Center in SM Malls
SM Supermalls opened the ninth Global Pinoy Center (GPC) at SM City Cebu yesterday and is set to open today GPCs at SM Iloilo and SM Davao.
Notable overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) like Violeta Musngi, Cary Santiago, Fe Sala Villarica and Monique Lhuillier (represented by her mother Amparito Lhuiller) were honored during the GPC launch SM Cebu City.
Any OFW, including their loved ones, who visit any SM GPC can get their own personalized Global Pinoy Card which entitles them to exclusive rewards and privileges.
The card allows OFWs and their families’ exclusive entry to SM GPCs where they can do transactions at the BDO remittance counter and the department store’s foreign-exchange or the business counter. They can also use the GPCs’ Internet facilities for free and avail themselves of free voice or video calls through the Abot Tanaw Program. This card also enables them to enjoy P100,000 worth of discounts and perks.
OFWs can now visit and get their cards at the newly opened GPCs at the SM Mall of Asia, SM City Fairview, SM City Clark, SM City Marilao, SM City North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM City Bacoor and SM City Rosario.
SM conceived of the Global Pinoy Program as a way of acknowledging the sacrifices and dedication of OFWs to their families.
