The RCC will provide help desks at SM for renewal of professional licenses; receipts of single entry approach (SEnA) request for assistance on labor or employment concerns; queries on wages and productivity trainings, Owwa programs, and occupational safety and health trainings.
Tesda-Northern Mindanao will facilitate a skills Ddmo during the event.
Together with the Dole Provincial Field Offices, the different provincial, city, and municipal local government units, through their respective Public Employment Service Offices, various Tripartite Industrial Peace Councils (TIPCs), and other allied-partner agencies will simultaneously celebrate the event in the respective provinces of the region.
Participating jobseekers may avail themselves of various pre-employment services, such as issuance of birth certificates, clearances, and PhilHealth cards from the Dole’s partner agencies – Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Agravante, in an interview with local media, urged jobseekers to be fully prepared when they participate in the job fair.
“I invite our jobseekers to participate in the job fair and ready themselves with their proper business attire, bring multiple copies of resumes, school credentials, certificates of employment, clearances, photos, passport (for overseas applicants), and other pertinent pre-employment documents needed by employers,” Agravante added.
To avoid wasting time in filling-up our skills registration system forms, Leila Labor of Dole-Northern Mindanao said that jobseekers might already pre-register at the ground floor (beside the escalator, near Exquisite) of SM City. The pre-registration started last Monday, April 20.
This year’s month-long Labor Day celebration in the region is anchored on the theme, “Disenteng Trabaho at Kabuhayan, Alay Natin sa Bayan.”
