CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela, February 26 (PIA) – – SM City Cauayan management undergo once again a refresher and orientation on fire and earthquake readiness to enhance the capability of its employees and in compliance to the fire and earthquake awareness, .
 
Krystal Gayle Agbulig, SM City Cauayan public relations officer, said mall employees, tenants, guards and agency personnel have attended the orientation held last February 23, 2016.
 
She said the orientation focused on Fire and Earthquake safety measures with Cauayan City Fire Marshal Joanne Vallejo as resource person.
Vallejo discussed fire prevention and suppression of destructive fire and the enforcement of Fire Code of the Philippines and gave some tips on purchasing genuine fire extinguisher and how to use it effectively.
 
Cauayan City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Ronald Viloria likewise discussed what to do before, during and after an earthquake and other calamities like typhoons, floods and landslides.
“The Fire and Earthquake orientation is regularly conducted by SM to ensure awareness and preparedness of its employees, tenants, and agency personnel during calamities,” Agbulig said. (ALM/MGE/PIA-2/Isabela)
