SM Cinema recently launched the First Digital Theater in the country at the Cinema 1 of The Block, SM North Edsa in Quezon City. 

As the worldwide film and cinema exhibition industry enters the digital age, SM Cinema, the widest exhibition circuit in the country, leads the Philippines in this technological milestone.

SM Cinema, with its 230 theaters in 40 locations nationwide, will go full digital by April 2012, converting all its cinemas into Digital Theaters.

SM Cinema has signed an agreement with DCinema Alliance Corp., the company managing the digital cinema deployment in the country.
