Pangasinan shoppers had their first look at SM City Rosales when the 32nd SM Supermall opened its doors to the public on Friday, November 28.

Located along MacArthur Highway in barangay Carmen East, Rosales, Pangasinan, it will be the first SM supermall in this bustling province. It will bring SM’s shopping, leisure and entertainment excitement to Rosales and other neighboring towns in Pangasinan like Villasis, Sta. Maria, Balungao, Urdaneta City, Santo Tomas and Umingan. It will also serve’ shoppers in Nueva Ecija and Tarlac, as well as travelers from Baguio City and the Ilocos Region.

The mall has approximately 42,000 square meters of well-designed retail space. During the soft openingon Nov. 28 the SM Hypermarket, a major anchor, as well SM mainstays, like the SM Appliance Center, ACE Hardware and Watsons, opened.

A total of 27 tenants will also open in time for the holidays including well known brands like National Bookstore, Penshoppe, For Me, Oxygen, Ideal Vision, Blue Magic, Sportshouse, Mendrez, Unisilver, as well as restaurants like KFC, Pizza Hut, Jollibee, Tokyo Tokyo, Greenwich, and Red Ribbon.

Also to open are service shops like David’s Forever, Let’s Face It, Freshaire, and BDO, as well as fun and techie places like Games n Gadgets, Guazon Movietek, and Timezone.

When completed, SM City Rosales will have over 100 tenants. Scheduled to open in the mall is major anchor SM Department Store, as well as boutiques, specialty shops and restaurants. These will provide an exciting mix of fashion, electronics, home furnishings, health and personal-care stores, as well as restaurants, amusement centers and services from homegrown tenants and prestigious national and international brands.

Completing the malling experience are four deluxe cinemas with a total seating capacity of 2,000. For customer convenience, the mall has parking facilities for 700 vehicles, and is strategically located beside the main terminal for inter-town public buses and jeepneys.

The construction team of SM City Rosales includes DSGN Associates, mall designers; Jose Siao Ling & Associates, architects; New Golden City Builders, general contractors; and D.A. Abcede & Associates, project managers.
