ROSALES, Pangasinan, Nov. 24 — Some 1,500 persons benefited from the medical and dental mission conducted by health and medical services of SM Foundation Incorporated last Friday at the transport terminal of SM City Rosales.

They received free medical consultation that included fasting blood sugar screening, bone density scanning, echo cardiogram (ECG), X-Ray, blood pressure monitoring, tooth and gum check-up, tooth extraction, including weight and height monitoring. The beneficiaries were also provided free medicines and vitamins.

During the medical and dental mission, the SM Foundation Incorporated used their mobile clinic which has modern medical apparatuses and machines like ECG and X-Ray.

The activity was initiated by SM City Rosales management, as part of their pre-opening activities, It was also in keeping with SM Supermalls corporate social responsibility to the community where it operates.

Prior to this, the management also distributed relief goods, built classrooms and participated in rescue operations for people isolated by last month’s flood in eastern Pangasinan and likewise converted part of the mall as a temporary evacuation center for typhoon “Pepeng.”
