SM Prime Holdings Inc., the largest Philippine shopping mall operator, said nine-month profit rose 9 percent after increasing the space it leases to tenants such as McDonald’s Corp. and Starbucks Corp.
Net income rose to 4.7 billion pesos (US$ 96 million) in the nine months ended September from a year ago, Manila-based SM Prime said.
Sales rose 10 percent to 12.8 billion pesos, it said.
