SM Prime Holdings and the local government of Angono in Rizal recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that aims to rehabilitate the drainage system along Barangay San Isidro and Barangay Kalayaan. The P8.4-million project aims to help prevent flooding in the area.
SM Prime Holdings President Hans T. Sy signed the MOA with Angono Mayor Gerardo V. Calderon at the Angono Municipal Hall, and assured that SM Supermalls is committed to not only do business in Angono, but also build a good relationship with the community.
“It’s not all about business,” Mr. Sy said during the MOA signing, “It’s about partnerships.” He added that with an SM Angono Center opening late this year, they will also try to improve the traffic situation and be part of the city.
“We will make sure we are one with the city and their endeavors,” he said.

For customer convenience, it will have a two-level parking area with 332 slots for cars, and 42 slots of motorcycle parking. It will also be an environmentally friendly mall with a holding tank, which will purposely collect and hold 1,600 cubic meters of rainwater.
