SM Supercenter Pasig, the 26th SM Supermall, is set to open on Aug. 18.
Situated on a 2.7-hectare property in Frontera Verde along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, the 29,017-square-meter mall will serve residents in the neighboring upscale and industrial divisions, as well as customers who regularly traverse the C5 route to and from Quezon City, Cainta, Taytay, Antipolo, Pateros, Taguig, and Marikina City. Envisioned as a one-stop-shop for household and day-to-day needs, SM Supercenter Pasig has the SM Hypermarket as its major anchor.
The hypermarket is a European concept that combines the supermarket, general merchandise, and discount retailers.
One of the SM Hypermarket’s attractions is Taste Asia, where one can experience the flavors of Chinese, Filipino, Korean, and Japanese cuisine, dampa-style. Dampa is a seafood market where customers can take a pick from fresh catch and have these cooked right away; it has gained popularity among local diners in the past few years.
The new mall will also have SM mainstays like Ace Hardware and the SM Food Court, which will house local and international fastfood chains. Meanwhile, basement parking will have 307 slots to ensure customer convenience.
