IN response to the urgent need to attend to the plight of victims of typhoon Ondoy, SM supermalls in cooperation with SM Foundation have set up Operation Tulong Express booths in all SM Supermalls nationwide. SM is calling for volunteers who can donate their time and effort to the cause and for donations whether cash or kind. SM has tied up with Channels 4, 9 and 13 in an effort to consolidate efforts so that these channels will direct their viewers to bring donations to Tulong Express counters. Donations will all be forwarded to Caritas Manila.

The SM Supermalls Tulong Express booths have been set up since September 27 in different areas of the participating malls to enable people to have easy access to drop off their donations which will help affected people rebuild their lives.

Operation Tulong Express will be accepting donations such as canned goods, bottled water, medicines, clothes, towels, blankets, toiletries, cleaning materials and other related stuff that will help in the rehabilitation of Ondoy victims.

SM malls goers are also encouraged to share their time and volunteer to do things for the typhoon victims. Those who are interested can go to the operation Tulong Express booths in the different SM Supermalls to register and indicate the day and time when they can help with relief operations.
