MANILA, Philippines — Sixteen teams from all over the world will vie for the Reaver in The Manila Major at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The third and last event of Dota Major Championships officially started on Tuesday with a $1.1-million prize presented by Professional Gamers League.
 
Team Liquid, MVP, Na’Vi and Frankfurt Major champion OG qualified for the Upper Bracket with a best-of-three series after the group stages last weekend. The remaining 12 teams, including Filipino team Mineski and Shanghai Major champion Team Secret, fell in the lower bracket with a knockout format in the first round. 
 
Winners of the upper bracket will advance to the top six, while losers will join the lower bracket. After the first round in the lower bracket, all games will be best-of-three series and the championship, scheduled on Sunday, is a best-of-five series. 
 
The Manila Major is the final event by Valve before the main competition touted as the International that will be held this year.
