Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 20) — The world’s biggest store of Swedish home furnishing retailer Ikea will open in the Philippines by “late 2020.”

Swedish furniture maker Ikea is putting in P7 billion worth of initial investments for its biggest store in the world, which will open in Metro Manila at the end of 2020.

Swedish furniture brand IKEA expects to open its first Philippine branch by the end of 2020, it announced last November 20 in a launch event.

As the IKEA Philippines website launches today, more details are being made known about the Scandi-style store’s setup in the country.
