The Muntinlupa City government has granted the Safety Seal Certifications to SM Center Muntinlupa and Starmall Alabang for passing the minimum public health standards (MPHS) set by the government amid the ongoing pandemic.

BACOLODNONS who got their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) may receive their second dose at the SMX Convention Center in SM City Bacolod, the Bacolod City Health Office (CHO) official said.

Technical personnel of the local government and SM Prime Holdings will be conducting a joint survey in the city public market to ascertain the metes and bounds of the areas that will be developed through the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) led four other government agencies in accolading SM City Santa Rosa, SM City Calamba, and SM City San Pablo with the PH’s official Safety Seal in the province of Laguna.

Beginning with the local government of Mandaluyong’s awarding of its first Safety Seal to SM Megamall last May 12, local governments around the Metro soon followed suit in citing the SM Supermalls’ implementation of minimum health standards and safety protocols in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SM Mall of Asia was recently granted the Safety Seal by the local government of Pasay, the first mall to receive the recognition in the city under the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force’s safety program. The awarding ceremony was held Friday, June 11, at the SM Mall of Asia Level 2 Atrium. This brings to 33 the number of SM Malls awarded the Safety Seal by the IATF and their respective LGUs.
