The Philippine Star: 8 malls qualify as vote centers for 2016 polls
Eight malls whose owners have no political affiliation have qualified to be voting centers in the May 2016 elections.
Commission on Elections Chairman Andres Bautista said the Comelec initiated a background check on the eight malls that have expressed intention to serve as voting centers and the poll body confirmed that owners of these malls have no political affiliation and did not support any candidate in the past two elections.

The Philippine Star: SM Prime sets P20-B bond issue
MANILA, Philippines – Integrated property giant, SM Prime Holdings Inc. is set to issue up to P20 billion in fixed rate retail bonds.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Friday, SM Prime said its board of directors had approved the issuance of fixed rate retail bonds up to P15 billion, with an oversubscription option of up to P5 billion.

Property giant SM Prime Holdings Inc. plans to raise as much as P20 billion from a fresh offering of peso-denominated bonds to the retail market.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange Friday, SMPH said its board of directors had approved a plan to issue fixed rate bonds worth up to P15 billion with an oversubscription option of 5.25 years and 10 years.
