Gladiz May Latiza, mall public relations officer here, said the campaign aims to provide quality health and emergency assistance to indigent communities in the country. SM Supermalls, the country’s biggest mall network, announced a strategic partnership with Waze (Waze.com), the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app. This is the first time a Philippine mall chain has tied up with a global pioneer in social navigation. To further extend its service to shoppers, SM joined forces with Waze to provide the 1.8 million active Filipino Waze users, also known as Wazers, with real-time relevant information including turn-by-turn directions to nearby SM Supermalls that appear along the driver’s route.
