SOME of the country’s biggest companies continue to donate both in cash and in kind for relief operations in central Philippines, which was devastated by Supertyphoon Yolanda.

Homegrown and foreign companies are mobilizing funds for humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and reconstruction initiatives in areas hit by Typhoon Yolanda, the strongest typhoon to make landfall in recorded history.

MANILA, Philippines – SM Foundation, the socio-civic arm of the SM Group of Companies, is sending out 50,000 relief packages for survivors of typhoon “Yolanda.”

The SM Group of Companies, through the SM Foundation’s disaster relief program, Operation Tulong Express, has started relief operations in typhoon-stricken areas across Luzon and the Visayas region to provide assistance to the families greatly affected by super typhoon Yolanda.
